Ok, is it just me or do you get tired of the cop out of people (men in general), that say they have no idea what to buy you? Yea, I have hundreds of shoes. Yea, I have handbags gallore. Yea, yea, yea. Guess what? None of that matters if I have to always buy them for myself.
The best gift in the world is the one you don't expect and often the one that cost the least amount of money. Calm down. Not some cheap thoughtless gift, but a gift that comes from the heart and everytime you look at it, you think of that person. In this economy, that's probably the best option anyway. We are really in a day and age that money has lost its value. What matters most is the people that you love and how they feel about you.
Gone are the days where lavish gifts should be anticipated or even demanded. We "fly girls" should stop worrying about price tags and appreciate the effort, love, and sacrafice that went into the gift giving. When you turn on the TV, there is always someone or an entire family hurting. We should all be so grateful to experience happiness on this Chritsmas Day. Whether the happiness is big or small, we are still so fortunate.
Ok, my hallmark moment is over (for now), but think about all the things that you are blessed with this Christmas and all of those who may not.
